I attended a carving class in which the project was to cast a lump of plaster of Paris and carve it to suit our muse
I came looking for help in channeling my creative juices and John Sadler, our teacher, helped immensely. Since Plaster of Paris is not a technically challenging medium we were able to spend time talking about flow, balance, tension and other "art"/perception issues
There is no particular meaning to the piece, it is what just felt right once I had poured the lump.
