Nancy and Avery's 2009 Visit - Elk Pass, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park

Another beautiful day with ideal skiing conditions. Skiing during the week is very nice. Just a few people around - nothing is crowded. This time, a female moose as we were driving back to Canmore.

We accidentally chose the "right" way to ski from Boulton Creek parking lot. We skied directly up to the Pocaterra trail and then south to Elk Pass area. It gave the feeling of having more downhill than up. I think because the downhills were less steep than the up so went on for a long time.
