| This day was spent getting to Jasper and descending on Katie's parents in their cottage at Lake Edith. It is beside Chez Nous - Carole's family's cottage. As always, it was wonderful to be there - almost didn't want to start hiking, instead sit on the dock and watch the grebes. Katie's parents were gracious hosts. Their hospitality made for a good start to our hike. I hope that they or Katie enjoyed Enid's and my breakfast granola that I managed to leave. Enid and I discovered that soup makes for quite a good breakfast. J | |||||||
