Baker Lake Hike - Introduction

This site uses Cascading Style Sheets.  If you don't see a turquoise background then you may have the use of style sheets turned off in your browser.  The site will work without the use of style sheets, but will not look very good.

Heather, Pat, Lisa, and I went for a 3 night backpacking trip to Baker Lake, which is in the Lake Louise area near Skoki lodge.  The trip was from 1999 Aug 4 to Aug 8, the height of the mosquito season.

All inline images in this site are toenail sized images.  To get larger versions select one of the links associated with each image.  All images are in JPEG format with precision of .75 for the toenail and half sized images and .9 for the full sized images.

The images are best viewed with at least 16k colours.  They are better with true colour or 24bit colour.

There are two ways of viewing the images and text, as a diary and by category.  By category viewing is best done by selecting the category from the left side menu.  Viewing as a diary is best done by starting at the beginning and following the "next" links (or by selecting Story from the menu).
